Ultra-slimline design meets sturdy performance in the X Metal Base, which features two folding metal legs and a central support pole. Simply unfold the legs into an ‘X’ position for a balanced and robust solution to all your flying banner needs. Pre-drilled for use with ground pegs, the base has a durable powder coated finish and is designed for use with 19mm poles. It can also be paired with the Acrobat Water Bag for additional stability. Folds virtually flat into its own carry case.What is a Metal X-Base used for? The Metal X-Base is a versatile, four-legged folding stand designed to support promotional flags (Feather, Teardrop, or Quill) on hard, flat surfaces. Its "cross" design provides a stable footprint while remaining lightweight and highly portable, making it the industry standard for indoor events and trade shows. How portable is the folding X-Base? Portability is the X-Base’s greatest strength. The four legs fold inward, allowing the base to collapse into a slim, compact shape that fits easily into a flag carry bag. It weighs approximately 2kg to 3kg, making it the easiest base for event staff to transport between venues. Is the X-Base suitable for outdoor use? The X-Base is primarily designed for indoor use. While it can be used outdoors on calm days or in sheltered areas, its lightweight frame can be affected by wind. If using outdoors, we strongly recommend adding a Water-Fillable Weight Bag (Donut) over the central spindle to provide the necessary ballast to prevent toppling.
