Our standard PVC banner is a heavy-duty 510gsm (grams per square meter) vinyl material. It consists of a high-tenacity polyester "scrim" (a mesh-like internal weave) sandwiched between two layers of white PVC. This construction makes it incredibly strong, waterproof, and ideal for long-term outdoor use.
Are the banners suitable for use in the wind?
Yes, our 510gsm banners are designed for outdoor durability. However, if you are mounting a banner in a very exposed, high-wind location (like on scaffolding or a bridge), we recommend our Mesh Banners, which have small holes to let the wind pass through and prevent the "sail effect."
Do I get hems and eyelets included?
Absolutely. As standard, we provide heat-welded hems for extra strength and nickel-plated brass eyelets spaced approximately every $500\text{mm}$ to $1000\text{mm}$ around the perimeter. This ensures your banner is "ready to hang" straight out of the box using cable ties, bungee cords, or screws.
