A cost-effective classic, this moulded plastic base can be filled with either sand or water for extra stability and is designed to hold 19mm poles. A built in carry handle makes for easy transportation while the no-frills design ensures the base will withstand even the toughest environments over a period of many years. Measuring 430x430x135mm, this base has a filled capacity of 24 litres.

The Standard Water Base is a heavy-duty, molded plastic weight designed to support outdoor promotional flags (such as Feather, Teardrop, or Quill flags). It provides the necessary ballast to prevent flags from toppling over in breezy conditions while remaining easy to move when empty.
How much water does the base hold?
When fully filled, the standard base typically holds 20 liters (20kg) of water. This provides a low center of gravity, making it suitable for small to medium-sized flags in moderate wind conditions. For extremely large flags or very high-wind areas, we recommend our "Heavy-Duty" or "Stackable" base options.
Is the water base portable?
Yes. One of the primary advantages of a water base is its portability. When empty, the plastic shell weighs less than 2kg, making it easy to carry to events or trade shows. Once you reach your location, simply fill it using a standard garden hose or tap.
