Frequently Asked Questions

What is the 10.5kg Heavy Flat Metal Base used for?
This base is a premium, high-stability foundation designed for Feather, Teardrop, and Quill flags. Because it is flat and heavy, it provides a very low center of gravity, making it the preferred choice for high-traffic areas where a bulky water base might be a trip hazard or look out of place.
Is this base suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, but with specific recommendations. The 10.5kg weight is perfect for outdoor use in sheltered areas or on calm days. For very tall flags (over 4m) or exposed, windy locations, we recommend using this base in conjunction with a water-fillable weight donut to provide extra ballast.
What makes the "Flat" design better than other bases?
he ultra-slim profile (typically only 5mm–8mm thick) allows the base to sit almost flush with the floor. This makes it: Safer: Significantly reduces the risk of pedestrians tripping in busy showrooms or exhibition aisles. Aesthetic: Provides a clean, minimalist look that doesn't distract from your branding. Stackable: Multiple bases can be stacked easily for storage or transport.
